"Abby" is a portrait of my daughter at age two
- that wondrous age when the eyes are truly windows into the
ever-expanding mind of a child. Portraits are always
a pleasure to paint - and children's portraits are almost
magical for me.

This small, ancient church stands on the
roadside between Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Underneath many
layers of stucco are stone walls. Now, with a fresh coat of
